Page history last edited by Megan 1 yr ago

Alli 1- Today my class went to the school garden to see how it has changed from the fall to the spring. It has changed alot since fall. The flowers have bloomed and tadpoles have started to hatch.  Me and my class found a flower or plant that we liked and we sketched it down. I choose a black-eyed susan. They are little yellow flowers that  die in the witer and bloom like crazy in the spring. Have you ever been to the school garden?

Amanda 4 - Today Mrs.Bowers class went out to see the school garden. We saw it from the winter to the summer.  In the fall the garden was mostly dead! But now it is living! There is SO many diferent plants and flowers!!! It is So pretty. I love it. In the pond there are tadpoles and frog eggs and minows.  We brought our journals and sketched it down one flower or lily pad. We also looked at the compost. It smells SSSOOO bad!!! The garden is very interesting. Have you ever seen the school garden?  I'm sure you'll like it!

Our class saw a lot of Black Eyed Susan flowers and we saw a Honey Suckle bush and some pink flowers that looked like Sunflowers and Black Eyed Susans. When we looked in the compost bucket we saw some dried up grass and some twigs. We also looked in the pond and we saw tadpole eggs.
