This purple leafed flower sits by the pond in the utotes garden. It has a black and yellow center. The purple pedals bend back from the center.

 This very pretty flower is very long with leaves sprouting on the stem. At the top there are pink petals circiling the orangish, redish center in the the middle. Sean and Samuel

 The lilly pad has a smooth texture, it is green with purple and black dots. It also has black lines that go from the middle to all edges of the lilly pad. Some of the lilly pads are red and brown. It also is very light in weight. There is small, medium and large sized lilly pads.    Sydney and Aaron B.

They're red flowers with pink centers and red tips. Bees looooove the  GAILLARDIA!!!!  Very pretty in my opinion.

  Yellow flowers with darkish brown centers and a very long stem. A lot of bees were on the middle of them. My partner and I think that they are black-eyed susans. Kaitlyn and Kevin

  The purple flower has very light purple petals that go out to the side. Before the petals are formed the buds are pinkish purple. A little less than half of the flower is the petals and buds. The rest of the flower is a very dark green.  Lauren and Shane

  This flower lives mostly in shallow waters and has arrow shaped leaves. The very bottom of the flower has an orange redish tint.  The root of the flower is very strong and thick.  EmmaLi and Rachel

 This flower lives on the edge of the pond. It has oval shaped leaves and at the top it has a purple dotted flower.  It looks beautiful.  Corey and Carter.

  This flower is a pinkish purple color with orange spikes and red on top. A bee was collecting nectar, on some flowers. We  could see a lot of pollen, and the bee was moving it's legs to make the pollen.  Lydia and Megan

  These lilly pads are  wet and soggy and float on water. Some of the lilly pads had a red center. They are different sizes.  They are a thin flat substance that connects to other pads with its roots.  Some of them were dried up circles. Most of them were light green. They have thin stems.  The lilly pads can be resting places for small bugs. Katherine and Aaron T.

  The middle is a yellow color with black lines.The pedals are a dark red and have yellow on the tips. Bryant and Brendan

 The water lily is white with a green outer coating, most of the time it grows on a lily pad in the water. Juan and Nathan
